DNS Cleanup

 UPDATE: The DNS update went well, overnight there might have been an hour downtime.  

I have some much needed DNS maintenance that needs to be addressed. As a result, there could be some downtime anywhere between May 23rd through May 27th, 2007. The maintenance is much needed to support some home automation projects I have been toying with.

Solid Performance and New Site

The Mac Mini has been performing great as a webserver.  Thirty days of uptime and still rolling, with good performance.  I am still using the machine as a desktop as well.

I went ahead and did something I have been thinking of doing for a while, I registered a Scott Buffington domain.  I can easily point folks to my websites now from a domain hosted from my home.  No one ever remembers that Nitevilla is my blog.  Now they only need to remember my name, assuming they are interested.  The index to everything Scott Buffington is scottbuffington.org.

April Schedule

Currently there are no planned outages for any of the BuffNet websites.  Technically as of this date Nitevilla is not yet running on the BuffNet network.  Possibly Nitevilla could see some minor downtime as I move the pages and the database and while waiting for the DNS to propagate.
